Wearable hand sanitizer accessory meant to increase the convenience and accessibility of hand sanitizer. Perfect for use in medical environments.
Spray Bracelet is a wearable hand sanitization solution designed for convenience and ease of use. This innovative device securely straps premium alcohol-based hand sanitizer onto the wrist, eliminating the need for manual retrieval from pockets or bags. With instant access to hand sanitizer on the go, the Spray Bracelet offers users enhanced peace of mind and heightened convenience.
While we were all experiencing the challenges of Covid 19, I set out to design a versatile solution designed for practicality and hygiene. Featuring a 25 ML carrying capacity seamlessly integrated within its inner walls, the bracelet offers convenient refillability for users, allowing them to replenish sanitizer gel as needed. Crafted from injection-molded liquid silicone rubber (LSR), the bracelet upholds medical-grade standards, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal. Through an optimized supply chain, we prioritize affordability without compromising quality, making the Spray Bracelet accessible to all seeking reliable hand sanitation on the go.
The initial concept for the sanitizer bracelet drew inspiration from Spiderman's web shooter, envisioning a device that dispenses hand sanitizer akin to the iconic superhero's web. Embracing the functionality of Spiderman's gadget, my design transforms the idea of spraying web into a practical solution for dispensing hand sanitizer, but over time, I realized the volume of the original design was too little to be viable and would require frequent refilling, which would be cumbersome to users.
The second design iteration prioritized practicality with a 25 ml liquid volume capacity and a simplified refilling method. However, manufacturing constraints arose due to the abundance of small parts, hindering cost-effectiveness. Subsequent iterations focused on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness, leading to the development of a more streamlined and viable design solution.
The ultimate design synthesis encapsulated insights from prior iterations, resulting in a markedly streamlined product featuring only four components. Manufactured using silicone injection molding or plastic injection molding techniques, the final design achieved cost-effectiveness, reliability, simplicity, and durability. By integrating the learnings from previous iterations, we optimized every aspect of the product to deliver a solution that excels in performance and accessibility.
