Transparent screens have long been the holy grail of sci-fi computing, capturing the imagination of visionaries and futurists alike. While these cutting-edge displays may not yet be viable for wearable AR solutions, they are a perfect match for handheld VR, opening up a new world of immersive experiences without the constraints of cumbersome headsets. Initially, we envisioned a 3D display utilizing lenticular display technology with integrated eye tracking for an interactive picture frame experience. However, we deemed the concept too restrictive and conventional, prompting us to explore more innovative avenues.
We transitioned from the confines of a conventional picture frame concept to an avant-garde, all-in-one PC by synergizing lenticular displays and transparent OLEDs. This original invention integrates cutting-edge 3D technology, including switchable lenticular displays, eye tracking, and transparent OLEDs. The result is a pioneering product that transcends traditional boundaries, offering users an immersive and interactive computing experience unlike anything seen before.
Through iterative refinement, the final design emerged—a sleek, ergonomic semi-detachable display powered by high-performance GPUs and computing capabilities. Refined with an all-metal exterior and swappable parts, it offers durability and versatility.
