Enhancing Luxury with the power of procedural 3D design and 3D Resin Printing.

The only thing more luxurious than gold is a design so rare and unique that it cannot be replicated or produced using traditional methods.

Luxury goods hold a special allure despite their practicality being often questionable. Yet, in jewelry, beauty and intricate detail reign supreme. Inspired by this allure, I delved into unconventional methods like 3D printed investment casting and procedural pattern generation. The goal? To craft a distinct style, offering customers exclusivity like no other.

Procedural Generative Design

Crafting truly one-of-a-kind jewelry at scale necessitates innovative approaches. We harnessed Python to generate procedural patterns and extrusion paths, altering CAD models to yield intricate designs unattainable by hand. These methods not only ensured uniqueness but also facilitated seamless transition to 3D printing, revolutionizing the production process.

Resin Printing for 3D Casting

Transforming our designs into tangible objects involved utilizing castable wax resin printed via SLA (Stereolithography) 3D printers. Following the precise removal of supports, the printed 3D object is poised to enter the investment casting chamber, marking the next phase of production.

3D Casting and Finishing

Navigating the investment casting process poses financial challenges due to its irreversible nature. Through numerous iterations, we honed our techniques, ensuring reliable production of parts. This meticulous approach enabled us to deliver finished, polished products to customers with confidence and precision, overcoming the inherent risks of the investment casting method.
